AWS Step Functions has expanded data source and output options for Distributed Map, enhancing large-scale parallel processing workflows.
- Now supports processing data from JSON Lines (JSONL) and additional delimited file formats in Amazon S3
- Enables processing of semicolon and tab-delimited files without custom pre-processing
- Introduces new output transformations for more control over result formatting
- Supports easier result aggregation and downstream system integration
- Available in AWS Step Functions console and supports over 14,000 API actions across 220 AWS services
This update provides more flexibility for distributed data processing workflows by supporting a broader range of data formats and output options.
