Amazon Redshift Serverless adds higher base capacity of up to 1024 RPUs

Amazon Redshift Serverless now supports a higher base capacity of up to 1024 Redshift Processing Units (RPUs), doubling the previous maximum of 512 RPUs. This enhancement provides significant performance improvements for complex data warehousing workloads.
- Enables faster processing of large datasets and complex queries
- Provides up to 16 TB of memory, compared to 8 TB at 512 RPUs
- Demonstrated 44% faster data ingestion and 62% better performance in concurrent query execution
