<li>Regional endpoints remove cross-regional call dependencies</li>
<li>The 'standard' retry strategy uses token-bucket throttling</li>
<li>Affects SDKs for C++, .NET, Java, PHP, Python, Ruby, PowerShell, and AWS CLI</li>
<li>Customers are recommended to test their applications before the change</li>
<li>Option to temporarily opt out of the new configuration is available</li>
</ul>
