Amazon RDS for PostgreSQL has released support for the latest PostgreSQL minor versions:
- PostgreSQL versions: 17.3, 16.7, 15.11, 14.16, 13.19
- Recommended for security vulnerability fixes and bug improvements
- Updated PostgreSQL extensions include:
- pg_active 2.1.4
- pg_cron 1.6.5
- pg_partman 5.2.4
- Upgrade options:
- Automatic minor version upgrades
- Amazon RDS Blue/Green deployments
Users are encouraged to upgrade to these latest versions to improve database security and performance.
