AWS Marketplace is expanding its SaaS product catalog, effective May 1, 2025, to include software products deployed across various infrastructures, not just AWS.
- Removes previous requirement that SaaS products must be partially deployed on AWS
- Introduces a "Deployed on AWS" badge for products fully hosted on AWS infrastructure
- Provides customers with broader software selection and streamlined procurement
- Allows AWS Partners to list complete SaaS portfolios in the marketplace
- Offers enhanced discovery, flexible payment options, and consolidated billing
The expansion aims to provide greater choice for customers while maintaining clear identification of AWS-native products and their additional benefits.
