Amazon Data Lifecycle Manager now supports AWS PrivateLink, enabling more secure and private API connections for managing EBS snapshots and AMIs.

  • Allows direct API connection to Amazon Data Lifecycle Manager within the AWS network
  • Communication between VPC and Data Lifecycle Manager API occurs privately
  • Provides a secure pathway for data management
  • Available in all AWS Regions where Amazon Data Lifecycle Manager is supported
  • Can be configured via AWS Management Console or AWS CLI

This enhancement improves security and network isolation for customers managing EBS snapshots and AMIs through AWS PrivateLink.
