Amazon DynamoDB Streams now supports AWS PrivateLink, enabling private network connectivity for DynamoDB Streams APIs.
- Allows invoking DynamoDB Streams APIs from within Amazon VPC without using public internet
- Uses interface VPC endpoints and private IP addresses for network connectivity
- Compatible with AWS Direct Connect and AWS VPN
- Eliminates need for public IP addresses, firewall rules, and internet gateway configuration
- Helps maintain compliance for DynamoDB workloads over private networks
- Available in all AWS commercial regions
The feature can be configured using AWS Management Console, AWS API, CLI, SDK, or CloudFormation, with detailed documentation available in the Amazon DynamoDB developer guide.
