Amazon Data Lifecycle Manager now supports Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6)

Amazon Data Lifecycle Manager has expanded support to include Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6) addresses for endpoints.

  • Customers can now use IPv6 addresses for new and existing endpoints
  • Supports dual-stack network environments with both IPv4 and IPv6
  • Enables simplified network stack management
  • Allows automated management of EBS Snapshots and EBS-backed AMIs
  • Available in all AWS commercial Regions

This update provides customers with more flexible networking options for managing their data lifecycle and snapshots across AWS environments.
