
AWS Secrets Manager now supports higher API request rates for GetSecretValue (10,000 RPS) and DescribeSecret (40,000 RPS) operations at no additional cost across all service regions.

AWS Secrets Manager has increased the API request limits for two key operations:

<li>GetSecretValue now supports up to 10,000 requests per second</li>
<li>DescribeSecret now supports up to 40,000 requests per second</li>
<li>These increased limits are available at no additional cost</li>
<li>Automatically applied to all AWS accounts</li>
<li>Available in all regions where Secrets Manager operates</li>
</ul>

The enhanced API limits will help customers improve performance and scalability when retrieving and describing secrets in their AWS environments.
