AWS Client VPN increases authorization rules and route quotas

News

AWS has increased quotas for AWS Client VPN, enhancing network routing and access control capabilities for VPN connections.

  • Routes per target network association increased from 10 to 100
  • Authorization rules per endpoint expanded from 50 to 200
  • Provides greater flexibility for enterprises with distributed architectures
  • Enables more granular control over network traffic flows
  • New quotas automatically applied to new and existing Client VPN endpoints
  • Enhancement available at no additional cost across all AWS Regions

The increased quotas allow organizations to define more complex routing paths across development, staging, and production environments with improved network management.
