Amazon Neptune Database now supports R7i instances

Amazon Neptune Database has expanded support to include R7i instances with custom 4th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors, offering enhanced performance for graph database workloads.

  • R7i instances feature larger sizes up to 48xlarge
  • 8:1 memory to vCPU ratio with DDR5 memory
  • Available in multiple AWS regions across US, Asia Pacific, Canada, and Europe
  • Up to 15% better price performance compared to R6i instances
  • Supports graph use cases like fraud, knowledge, customer 360, and security graphs

Users can launch R7i instances via AWS Management Console or AWS CLI, with simple upgrades available for Neptune engine versions 1.4.3 or higher.
