Amazon Neptune Database now supports Graviton3 R7g and Graviton4 R8g database instances with enhanced performance capabilities.
- Features DDR5 memory with 50% more memory bandwidth compared to DDR4
- R7g instances offer up to 30Gbps enhanced networking bandwidth
- R8g instances provide up to 48xlarge sizes with 8:1 memory to vCPU ratio
- Priced 16% lower compared to previous R6g instances
- Available in multiple AWS regions across US, Europe, Asia Pacific, Canada, and South America
- Supports Neptune engine versions 1.4.5 or higher
- Can be launched via AWS Management Console or AWS CLI
The new Graviton-based instances offer improved performance and cost-effectiveness for Neptune database users.
