AWS has announced Amazon Q Developer support for Amazon OpenSearch Service, introducing AI-assisted capabilities for operational analytics and incident resolution.
- Enables natural language exploration of operational data
- Provides AI-generated summaries and insights for alerts
- Allows generating visualizations using natural language prompts
- Helps reduce mean time to resolution for technical issues
- Available in multiple AWS regions, including US East, US West, and Europe
The feature is on by default through the Amazon Q Developer Free tier and aims to simplify data analysis and troubleshooting for OpenSearch Service users.
