Amazon RDS for Oracle now supports M6id and R6id database instances, offering enhanced performance for database workloads.
- Provides up to 7.6 TB of NVMe-based local storage
- Allows placement of temporary tablespaces in local storage
- Reduces latency and improves throughput for database operations
- Supports Database Smart Flash Cache for Oracle Enterprise Edition
- Can be launched via RDS Management Console or AWS CLI
