Amazon RDS for Oracle has expanded its support to include R6in and M6in instances with significant networking enhancements.

  • Supports up to 170 Gbps of network bandwidth
  • Ideal for write-intensive database workloads
  • Available for Oracle Database Enterprise Edition (EE) and Standard Edition 2 (SE2)
  • Supports Bring Your Own License (BYOL) model
  • Can be launched via Amazon RDS Management Console or AWS CLI

These new instances provide improved network performance for Oracle database deployments, offering more robust networking capabilities for enterprise workloads.
