Amazon RDS for Oracle has expanded its support to include R6in and M6in instances with significant networking enhancements.
- Supports up to 170 Gbps of network bandwidth
- Ideal for write-intensive database workloads
- Available for Oracle Database Enterprise Edition (EE) and Standard Edition 2 (SE2)
- Supports Bring Your Own License (BYOL) model
- Can be launched via Amazon RDS Management Console or AWS CLI
These new instances provide improved network performance for Oracle database deployments, offering more robust networking capabilities for enterprise workloads.
