Amazon Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka (MSK) has added support for Apache Kafka version 3.9, introducing key improvements for data management and storage.
- Users can now retain tiered data when disabling Tiered Storage at the topic level
- Consumer applications can read historical data from remote log start offset while maintaining continuous log offsets
- Version includes various bug fixes and improvements
- Support is available in all AWS regions where MSK is offered
