New Amazon EC2 Graviton4-based instances with NVMe SSD storage

AWS has announced new Amazon EC2 Graviton4-based instances with enhanced performance and NVMe SSD storage across three instance families: compute optimized (C8gd), general purpose (M8gd), and memory optimized (R8gd).
- Delivers up to 30% better compute performance compared to Graviton3 instances
- Offers up to 192 vCPUs and 1.5 TiB memory
- Provides up to 11.4TB of NVMe SSD local storage
- 75% higher memory bandwidth and 2x more L2 cache
- Supports up to 50 Gbps network bandwidth
- Ideal for Linux-based workloads, containerized applications, and various programming languages
Initially available in US East (N. Virginia, Ohio) and US West (Oregon) regions, these instances can be purchased as On-Demand, Savings Plans, Spot, Dedicated instances, or Dedicated hosts.
