AWS has announced the general availability of Amazon EC2 C8gn instances powered by AWS Graviton4 processors, offering unprecedented network performance for compute-intensive workloads.

  • Provides up to 600Gbps network bandwidth, the highest among EC2 network-optimized instances
  • Supports demanding network workloads like virtual firewalls, routers, and data analytics
  • Offers up to 192 vCPUs and 384 GiB memory
  • Delivers 30% higher compute performance compared to Graviton3-based C7gn instances
  • Available in US East (N. Virginia) and US West (Oregon) regions
  • Purchasable as On-Demand, Savings Plan, Spot, Dedicated instances, and Dedicated hosts

These new instances represent a significant advancement in AWS's Graviton processor technology, providing high-performance computing solutions for network-intensive applications.
