AWS has introduced the Well-Architected Video Streaming Advertising (VSA) Lens, a new framework to help customers improve cloud architectures for video streaming advertising workloads.
- Based on six key pillars: Operational Excellence, Security, Reliability, Performance Efficiency, Cost Optimization, and Sustainability
- Provides guidance for ad servers, supply side platforms (SSPs), and demand side platforms (DSPs)
- Offers best practices for:
- Risk assessment and mitigation
- Automating ad serving infrastructure
- Establishing performance metrics and KPIs
- Targets various roles including business leaders, CTOs, solution architects, operations teams, and security professionals
- Will be continuously updated to reflect new AWS services and industry trends
The VSA Lens aims to help organizations design more stable, efficient, and secure advertising workloads on AWS.
