AWS demonstrated advanced cloud and edge computing capabilities for the Department of Defense (DoD) during the Technology Readiness Experimentation (T-REX) series of events in 2024 and 2025.

  • Deployed Cloud Edge Global Access (CEGA) to provide resilient and secure network access from tactical edge to AWS GovCloud
  • Developed Defense Operations Grid Mesh Accelerator (DOGMA) with General Dynamics IT, integrating multiple AWS services for mission support
  • Showcased Tactical Edge Embodied AI Mesh (TEEAM) for autonomous management of unmanned aerial systems
  • Integrated sixteen data sources to create a unified Common Operating Picture across multiple locations
  • Supported DoD's goal of rapidly adopting commercial technologies for military innovation

The demonstrations highlighted AWS's ability to provide advanced cloud computing, AI, and autonomous capabilities that can enhance military operational readiness and decision-making.
