Amazon SQS now supports FIPS 140-3 enabled interface VPC endpoints, enhancing security for regulated workloads and government contractors.

  • Provides FIPS 140-3 validated cryptographic modules for secure connections
  • Enables use of AWS PrivateLink with Amazon SQS for encrypted data transmission
  • Helps meet US federal government security requirements
  • Available in all AWS Commercial Regions in the United States and Canada
  • Supports creating interface VPC endpoints for secure SQS connections
