Amazon Simple Notification Service (Amazon SNS) has expanded its support for FIPS 140-3 validated endpoints in US and Canadian regions.
- FIPS compliant endpoints help US federal government contractors meet data encryption security requirements
- Supports sending requests over dual-stack public and VPC endpoints with validated cryptographic modules
- New FIPS 140-3 endpoints available in regions including:
- US East (N. Virginia)
- US East (Ohio)
- US West (N. California)
- US West (Oregon)
- Canada (Central)
- Canada West (Calgary)
- AWS GovCloud (US)
This expansion enables more secure and compliant messaging services for government and sensitive workloads.
