Deploy to ARM-Based Compute with AWS Deploy Tool for .NET

AWS has announced that the AWS Deploy Tool for .NET now supports deploying .NET applications to ARM-based compute platforms, offering improved price-performance and energy efficiency.

  • Developers can now deploy to ARM infrastructure like AWS Graviton using Visual Studio or .NET CLI
  • Supported deployment targets include AWS Elastic Beanstalk and Amazon ECS with AWS Fargate
  • In Visual Studio, users can switch the environment architecture to Arm64 under project settings
  • From .NET CLI, developers can install deployment tools and select ARM-based deployment options
  • Minimal workflow changes are required to leverage ARM-based compute benefits

The update enables .NET developers to easily deploy applications to cost-effective and energy-efficient ARM infrastructure with a streamlined deployment experience.
