Amazon VPC Reachability Analyzer now supports resource exclusion

News

Amazon VPC Reachability Analyzer now supports resource exclusion, a new feature that enhances network path analysis flexibility.

  • Allows users to exclude specific network resources when analyzing network paths
  • Helps identify alternative traffic routes in virtual private clouds (VPCs)
  • Enables users to check network paths that do not pass through specific network elements
  • Example use case: Identifying network paths that bypass network firewalls
  • Provides more granular control over network configuration analysis

This update gives network administrators more precise tools to understand and validate network connectivity and potential alternative routes.
