AWS CloudWatch Synthetics adds safe canary updates and automatic retries

AWS CloudWatch Synthetics has introduced two new features to enhance monitoring capabilities:
- Canary safe updates: Allows testing of canary updates before full deployment
- Automatic retries for failing canaries: Helps distinguish between genuine and intermittent failures
- Dry runs enable verification of runtime and configuration changes
- Maintains continuous monitoring during update processes
- Color-coded canary runs graph helps analyze temporary failures
These features are available in all commercial AWS Regions at no additional cost, accessible through AWS Management Console, AWS CLI, or CloudFormation. They aim to improve monitoring reliability and reduce false alarms.
