Amazon CloudWatch Synthetics adds IPv6 support

Amazon CloudWatch Synthetics has expanded its capabilities by adding IPv6 support, enabling more comprehensive network monitoring and endpoint testing.
- Canaries can now make outbound requests to IPv6 endpoints within VPCs
- Supports monitoring of IPv6-only and dual stack enabled endpoints
- CloudWatch Synthetics APIs now accessible via both IPv4 and IPv6
- PrivateLink access to Synthetics now available over IPv6 connections
- No additional cost for this new feature
The update allows users to monitor website and microservice availability across different network protocols, supporting environments with IPv6-only networking policies while enhancing security and connectivity options.
