Amazon RDS for MariaDB now supports community MariaDB minor versions 10.5.29 and 10.6.22

Amazon RDS for MariaDB has added support for two new community MariaDB minor versions: 10.5.29 and 10.6.22.

  • Recommended upgrade to fix security vulnerabilities
  • Benefits include bug fixes, performance improvements, and new functionality
  • Supports automatic minor version upgrades during maintenance windows
  • Can use Amazon RDS Blue/Green deployments for safer database updates
  • Simplifies setup, operation, and scaling of MariaDB databases in the cloud

The update allows users to easily improve their MariaDB database security and performance through managed upgrades.
