Amazon RDS for MariaDB has added support for new community MariaDB minor versions 11.4.8, 10.11.14, and 10.6.23.

  • Recommended upgrade to fix security vulnerabilities
  • Includes bug fixes and performance improvements
  • Supports automatic minor version upgrades during maintenance windows
  • Can use Amazon RDS Managed Blue/Green deployments for safer updates
  • Available for configuration in Amazon RDS Management Console

The update aims to help users maintain secure and up-to-date MariaDB database instances in the cloud.
