AWS DMS introduces Data Resync for improved migration accuracy

AWS Database Migration Service (AWS DMS) has introduced a new feature called Data Resync to improve migration accuracy between databases.
- Automatically corrects data inconsistencies during database migration
- Works with existing DMS migration tasks in Full Load and Change Data Capture (CDC) phases
- Uses current task settings to apply corrections without manual intervention
- Can detect and resolve issues like missing records, duplicate entries, and mismatched values
- Available in DMS replication engine version 3.6.1
- Currently supports migrations from Oracle and SQL Server to PostgreSQL
Data Resync aims to enhance migration reliability by automatically identifying and fixing data discrepancies during the database migration process.
