Amazon Lex has expanded its custom vocabulary feature to support multiple new languages, enhancing speech recognition accuracy across various global markets.
- Newly supported languages include Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Catalan, French, German, and Spanish
- Enables more accurate recognition of domain-specific terminology, proper nouns, and rare words
- Allows users to provide specific phrases that should be recognized during audio conversations
- Improves bot interactions by ensuring correct transcription of technical and industry-specific vocabulary
- Available in all AWS Regions where Amazon Lex operates
