Amazon OpenSearch Ingestion now supports direct data ingestion from Atlassian Jira and Confluence, enabling users to create a unified, searchable knowledge base for RAG applications.

  • Supports flexible filtering for Jira projects and Confluence spaces/pages
  • Provides continuous data synchronization between Atlassian platforms and OpenSearch
  • Offers multiple authentication methods including API key and OAuth2
  • Supports credential management through AWS Secrets Manager
  • Available in 16 AWS commercial regions

Users can start ingesting data via AWS Management Console, SDK, or CLI, with full details available in the Amazon OpenSearch Service Developer Guide.
