Announcing the Amazon DCV Access Console as Open Source

Desktop & Application Streaming Blog

AWS has announced the open-sourcing of the Amazon DCV Access Console, enabling developers to customize and integrate custom frameworks into its components.

  • Previously available only as a commercial build, the DCV Access Console is now open source on GitHub
  • Allows customization of web interfaces, orchestration workflows, and OAuth 2.0 provider integration
  • Provides a web-based solution for managing DCV sessions in a centralized interface
  • Available at no additional cost for both AWS and on-premises Amazon DCV deployments
  • Continues to be available as a packaged commercial build on the DCV downloads page

The release enables developers to tailor the DCV Access Console components to meet specific workload requirements while maintaining the core DCV streaming solution.
