Amazon Bedrock Flows announces preview of persistent long-running execution and inline-code support

Amazon Bedrock Flows has announced a preview of two key new features to improve generative AI workflow development:
- Extended workflow step execution times from 2 to 15 minutes
- Built-in execution tracking in AWS Management Console
- New inline-code node type supporting Python script execution
- Eliminates need for custom Lambda functions for simple data processing
- Available in multiple commercial regions
These enhancements aim to simplify workflow development by addressing previous limitations around execution time, monitoring, and code integration in Amazon Bedrock Flows.
