News

AWS Resilience Center (ARC) zonal autoshift practice now supports on-demand runs and balanced capacity pre-checks to improve application resilience testing.

  • Customers can trigger practice runs anytime, not just weekly
  • Pre-checks validate balanced capacity across Availability Zones
  • Supports Application Load Balancers, Network Load Balancers, and EC2 Auto Scaling groups
  • Available via ARC console, API, and CLI
  • Helps validate application practice run configuration and alarm settings
  • Pre-checks alert users if capacity is not balanced, allowing corrective action

The feature is available in all commercial AWS Regions and AWS GovCloud (US) Regions, enabling more flexible and comprehensive resilience testing.
