AWS Control Tower has added support for AWS PrivateLink, enhancing the security and privacy of API interactions for multi-account AWS environments.

  • Allows invoking Control Tower and Control Catalog APIs from within Amazon VPCs
  • Enables private connectivity without exposing traffic to the public internet
  • Supports secure management of multi-account AWS Organizations
  • Available in all regions where AWS Control Tower is supported
  • Helps maintain compliance and governance across organizational units

This update provides improved network security by allowing private, isolated API connections for AWS Control Tower services.
