News
Amazon Keyspaces (for Apache Cassandra) now supports Change Data Capture (CDC) Streams, a new feature that enables real-time tracking of database changes.
- Captures row-level insert, update, and delete operations in near-real time
- Automatically delivers changes with deduplication and ordering
- Enables event-driven applications like data analytics, ML training, and backups
- Retains data for up to 24 hours with automatic scaling
- No additional impact on table compute or storage capacity
Developers can consume CDC stream records using the Keyspaces Data Streams API or Kinesis Client Library, expanding data processing capabilities for Cassandra-compatible workloads.
