Amazon S3 Express One Zone now supports tags for enhanced cost allocation and access control:

  • Tags can be added to S3 directory buckets to track and organize AWS costs
  • Enables attribute-based access control (ABAC) for users, roles, and directory buckets
  • Simplifies access governance by reducing need for frequent IAM policy updates
  • Available in all AWS Regions where S3 Express One Zone is supported
  • Can be implemented via AWS Management Console, REST API, CLI, or SDK

This update provides more flexible and efficient cost tracking and access management for S3 Express One Zone storage.
