Amazon Managed Service for Prometheus has increased its default active series limit from 10 million to 50 million per workspace.
- New limit eliminates need for manual limit increase requests up to 50M series
- Customers can still request higher limits up to 1 billion active series
- Change applies automatically to existing workspaces
- Available in all regions where Amazon Managed Service for Prometheus is generally available
This update provides more flexibility for customers monitoring metrics in their cloud environments without requiring additional administrative steps.
