AWS IoT Core adds message queuing for MQTT shared subscription
News
AWS IoT Core has introduced message queuing for MQTT shared subscriptions, enhancing message delivery reliability for IoT applications during network disruptions.
- Automatically queues Quality of Service 1 (QoS1) messages when shared subscribers are disconnected
- Preserves critical data during connectivity challenges and peak loads
- Compatible with MQTT v3.1.1 and 5.0 clients
- Available in all AWS Regions supporting AWS IoT Core
- Queued messages will be billed at standard messaging rates
This new feature helps ensure message delivery and maintains data integrity in IoT environments with intermittent connectivity.
