News

Amazon S3 introduces a new data verification feature using S3 Batch Operations that allows users to efficiently verify the integrity of stored datasets.

  • Can verify billions of objects without downloading or restoring data
  • Supports multiple checksum algorithms including SHA-1, SHA-256, CRC32, and MD5
  • Works with any object, regardless of storage class or size
  • Generates detailed integrity reports for compliance and audit purposes
  • Complements existing S3 built-in validation methods
