News

AWS has added ECS Exec support to the AWS Management Console, allowing direct interactive shell access to running containers.

  • Provides secure container access without inbound ports or SSH keys
  • Previously only accessible via AWS API, CLI, or SDKs
  • Users can now connect to containers directly from the console
  • Can be enabled when creating or updating services and tasks
  • Supports configuration of encryption and logging at cluster level
  • Available in all AWS commercial regions

This feature streamlines container troubleshooting by offering a more convenient way to debug applications and examine running processes.
