Amazon CloudWatch Network Monitoring has enhanced its flow visibility capabilities to monitor network performance between AWS Regions across the AWS global network.
- Provides near real-time visibility of network performance for traffic between compute instances and AWS services
- Enables monitoring of network performance between local and remote Regions
- Introduces a network health indicator (NHI) that captures health of AWS global network paths
- Supports visibility for public IP addresses and private traffic over VPC/Transit Gateway peering
- Helps quickly detect and attribute network-driven impairments for workloads
This update significantly improves network performance monitoring by providing comprehensive visibility into cross-region network performance and potential issues.
