AWS Network Firewall has introduced significant enhancements to its console, monitoring capabilities, and security features, focusing on improved visibility and stronger network protection.

• Enhanced monitoring dashboard now provides insights into traffic for AWS services like S3, DynamoDB, and AWS Backup
• Dashboard enables filtering and analysis of top source and destination IP addresses by packets and bytes processed
• New session holding feature for TLS Inspection prevents TCP and TLS packets from reaching destination servers until SNI rules are evaluated
• Improved security controls help protect against connections to potentially malicious targets
• New features are available across all AWS Regions where Network Firewall is offered
