Amazon GameLift Streams has introduced IPv6 support for streaming Windows applications, offering enhanced networking capabilities:
- Enables dual-stack (IPv4 and IPv6) streaming for Windows-based stream groups
- Provides customers with flexible connection options
- Helps meet IPv6 compliance requirements
- Available in all AWS Regions where Amazon GameLift Streams is offered
- Linux runtime applications still require IPv4 connectivity
This update expands streaming connectivity options for customers using Windows applications, offering more network flexibility and addressing protocol choices.
