Amazon DocumentDB has expanded its service by introducing Graviton4-based R8g database instances, offering enhanced performance for memory-intensive workloads.

  • Powered by AWS Graviton4 processors with latest DDR5 memory
  • Built on AWS Nitro System for improved performance and security
  • Available through AWS Management Console, CLI, and SDK
  • Compatible with Amazon DocumentDB 5.0 on Standard and IO-Optimized storage
  • Supports modifying existing clusters or creating new ones

This release provides customers with more powerful and efficient database instance options for their MongoDB-compatible workloads.
