Amazon DynamoDB Accelerator (DAX) now supports AWS PrivateLink, enhancing network security and connectivity for cluster management operations.
- Enables secure access to DAX management APIs over private IP addresses within a VPC
- Allows private cluster management operations without connecting to public regional endpoints
- Simplifies private network connectivity between VPCs and on-premises data centers
- Eliminates need for public IP addresses, firewall configurations, or internet gateways
- Available in all regions where DAX is currently supported
This update provides improved security and compliance capabilities for DynamoDB Accelerator users by enabling private, secure API interactions.
