Data Exports for FOCUS 1.2 is now generally available

This article announces the general availability of AWS Data Exports for FOCUS 1.2, an open cost and usage specification for standardized cloud financial management.
- FOCUS 1.2 adds 14 new columns including InvoiceId for invoice reconciliation
- Enables capacity reservation tracking via CapacityReservationId and CapacityReservationStatus columns
- Supports virtual currency for seamless SaaS provider integration and unified cost reporting
- Supports hourly, daily, and monthly time granularity versus FOCUS 1.0's hourly only
- Includes commitment discount and SKU metering tracking capabilities
- Not backwards compatible with FOCUS 1.0; requires new exports and pipeline updates
- Recommended for all new implementations and existing FOCUS 1.0 users
