Amazon S3 Storage Lens adds performance metrics, support for billions of prefixes, and export to S3 Tables

This article announces three new capabilities for Amazon S3 Storage Lens to enhance storage visibility and performance analysis:
- Performance metrics identify inefficient requests, cross-region access, and frequently accessed objects
- Expanded prefix analytics now support billions of prefixes per bucket instead of limited largest prefixes
- Direct metrics export to S3 Tables enables querying with QuickSight and other analytics services
- Available in all AWS Regions except China and GovCloud
S3 Storage Lens now provides deeper insights into storage usage and application performance for cost optimization and data protection.
