This article announces that Amazon ECS with AWS Fargate now supports 32vCPU compute configurations for demanding applications.
- 32vCPU tasks available with 60 GiB, 120 GiB, or 244 GiB memory options
- Supports both x86-based and ARM-based Linux workloads
- Enables high-performance computing, data processing, and AI inference workloads
- Available on both Fargate and Fargate Spot capacity providers
- Existing Compute Savings Plans apply automatically
- Available in all AWS commercial and GovCloud regions
This expansion allows customers to deploy larger containers and scale compute-intensive applications beyond previous limits while maintaining Fargate's reliability and security.
