Amazon RDS for SQL Server launches memory-optimized X2m database instances based on EC2 X2iedn instances with optimized CPU features.
- Reduce SQL Server licensing costs by 50% or more compared to x2iedn instances
- Offer up to 64 vCPUs, 4TB memory, 256K IOPS, and 32:1 memory-to-vCPU ratio
- Modify existing instances or create new ones via RDS Management Console, AWS SDK, or CLI
